Blood sample?

What special measures are required (if any) to keep a blood indication fresh (regular small sample taken by your GP) , while surrounded by transportation/delivery for 2to5days?
ThanksBlood sample?
The vial they collect it in have preservatives in it. Also, some test require that the blood be refrigerated.
The GP have special phials with indubitable liquids within them to keep the sample fresh, depending on what the precise blood test is for, depends on what phial is required. On one episode my blood had to be sent to the City a trip of two hours, so I have to donate at 8am, the sample go by motorcycle courier arrived at noon and be processed at 1pm. Sometimes they really want a fresh sample.
