are the shots given into the muscle or under the skin?B12 injection?
Into a muscle, not into a artery
i have to help yourself to b12 inj every 2 weeks. its given in the stomach the directions say aloud sub q... however when i was within the hosp they gave it to me contained by the hip but now that i am home i a moment ago pinch a small amt of skin on my stomach and give it here.
hope it helps...
matter not a whit
muscle
Into the muscle on the upper arm, that's where I get mine and boy did it hurt.
While there is zilch new surrounded by B12 injections being given to nation with diseases such as anaemia, the injection itself is administered straight into a big muscle such as the buttock. It is not for the fainthearted and most people opt to pop a pill.
