Bacterial Pink Eye and Contacts?

I got a small armour of pink eye on Wed. morning....and got antibacterial drops within by Wed. night..The problem is that I enjoy prom on Sat. and really don't want to wear my glasses..and you aren't supposed to wear contacts when taking the medication.
Could I wear contacts on Sat. hours of darkness just for four hours later thow them away? or would that further damage my eyes?

As a healthcare provider (and a fellow woman who recognize what a big event this is for you) I would say this: I'd run with the Sat. darkness four hours, throw away plan. Don't think it's going to do so much hurt that it's worth going to the prom in goggles. Just do it as you told me. Don't go overboard. Have hold a great prom. Be sure to wash hand often.that's what really spreads it.
if the Dr say not to wear them don't you don't need any more eye problems =wear the eyeglasses so you can see and have a great time at your prom
You could hold pink eye bacteria on your contacts that you could re-transfer to your eye. Don't do it if you want it to return with better.
