Best foods for A Healthy Liver.?

I have just now quit alcohol and would like to repair any prior ruin done to my liver.Are there any specific foods I should be ingestion or avoiding?

i have third stage cirrhosis due to hepatitis c that have clear 10 years now but still hold the cirrhosis,you need to guzzle low fat low sugar,and most of adjectives no alcohol.if you can go lacto-vegetarian that the best,but if you do eat meat close to i do only get through chicken[white meat] fish salmom,or very lean meat.i chomp through a lot of bean and i cram better each time i do also look out for saline sodium and partially hydrogenated grease.
and do not take vitamins close to niacin bad for the liver
Eat plentiful amounts of organic fruits and vegetables, especially dark green leafy vegetables and ginger, yellow, purple and red coloured fruits and vegetables. Thirty to forty percent of the diet should consist of unprocessed fruits and vegetables. Try to eat some unprocessed fruits or vegetables with EVERY feast as they contain living enzymes, vitamin C, natural antibiotic substances and anti-cancer phytonutrients. Avoid the fat that present a high workload for the liver and nerve bladder. These are full-cream dairy products, margarines, processed vegetable oils (hydrogenated fats), low fried foods, foods that are not fresh and contain rancid fats, preserved meat, animal skins and fatty meats.

Milk Thistle is right to clear the liver. You can get it at the vigour food store. The purer the food the easier it is for the liver.
