Are our sweat glands and grease glands matching entity? or okay...not? really?
Hello Swangazeer,
No, they are not the same article. <smile>
The sweat glands are part of the body's heat regulating mechanism. When the body requests to cool off, the body releases aromatic water through the pores to the surface of the skin. The dampen evaporates and cools you off.
The grease glands (called sebaceous glands) secrete grease to keep the skin supple and prevent drying out and cracking. Your skin is your largest body organ and it requirements to be moist and flexible to stay whole. If you own openings within your skin like cracks or cuts, you can return with an infection. So the oil help keep you good.
Hope this helps.

no they are completely different. I presume the apocrine glands are your sweat glands because they are attached to hair. You enjoy sebacious (not sure on the spelling for that one) that secrete sebum to keep hold of skin soft and pliable and somewhat waterproof. So they enjoy different functions. Your sebacious glands are most abundant on the bridge of your muzzle hands and foot.
